  • High quality training and realistic pricing.
  • Down to earth, accessible services.
  • ‘Plain English’ spoken, no jargon.
  • Experience at all levels in public and third sector organisations, ‘from bin bags to board room’.

How much do you charge?

We recognise the importance of cost for our clients. And we believe in being clear about pricing. The following is intended only as a guide for these reasons, so please contact us to discuss your requirements. We will be happy to explain how we calculate our costs. A rough rule of thumb we use is to charge the same hourly rate as a you would pay a member of your team with equivalent experience performing a similar role.

Scotland’s Mental Health First Aid – from £400 (two day course, 80+ page manual and certificate for all participants)
‘Off the shelf’ courses – from £300 per day
Bespoke Training – from £400 per day
Facilitation – from £50 per hour
Coaching, mentoring and external supervision - approx £50 per hour, depending on contract
Consultancy – negotiated according to contract

What does that include?

The price we charge will be fully inclusive of -
  • Group size from 6-16 people for most courses, allowing you to significantly reduce unit costs.
  • All expenses, resources, preparation time, travel time and equipment.
  • Written evaluation and/or notes from courses and 1-1 sessions (e.g. flipchart notes and syndicate work typed up as handouts for circulation after the event).

Please note – these prices are based on delivery at your venue. We are happy to provide a venue where necessary, but this will be at additional cost.

Why are you called ‘Wren and Greyhound’?

This is the most common question we get asked, and the hardest to answer. A nine-year old nephew takes the blame for our unusual name. If you prefer, say it’s because we’re small but very energetic.

Did you know –

Wrens are very busy, especially in spring when male wrens will build several nests before the female chooses which one to use. Click here to find out more from the RSPB

When they are not training, greyhounds are surprisingly lazy.
