Work for Mental Health – This course makes the business case for the employment of people with mental health problems, helps participants make sense of related welfare benefits, and explores the skills, attitudes and approaches that support progression into work. Designed for two main groups – 1. Mental health staff who want to learn how to support their clients towards employment and 2. Employment support staff who want to know more about mental health.
Supporting Student Mental Health – Originally designed for Higher Education staff, this programme covers everything from recognising signs of distress to developing an organisational approach. Applicable to community education, further and higher education.

Coaching, mentoring and external supervision
We have over 16 years experience of providing guidance and support to help people overcome obstacles, improve performance and achieve their goals. Central to our success is our understanding of what motivates individuals and a belief in their potential. We can also provide coaching or mentoring to teams, from frontline staff to boards of directors. This can be especially valuable for boards/management committees with ‘service user’ or community representation, or for those undergoing periods of change.
We have provided ‘support and supervision’ to staff and volunteers working in a range of settings. Professional, independent external supervision can be especially effective for staff performing specialist functions such as information, advice, guidance or ‘people support’.
We will only agree to provide supervision where we are professionally competent to do so and with clear understanding of expectations and boundaries on all sides.
